What is Browse?

Browse is a free, open-source browser for Mac, built on WebKit. It keeps web pages in focus and brings Codegraff into a column beside the page when you want AI assistance.

Is Browse free?

The Browse browser is free to download. Codegraff AI usage has separate terms and requires a Codegraff account.

What do I need to get started?

A Mac running macOS 14 or later. Download Browse, open the disk image, and drag the app into Applications.

How do the AI features work?

Install Codegraff, sign in with your account, and enable the agent in Browse’s Settings. Press . while reading to open the side chat. For selected passages, turn on “Ask about selected text” in Settings › Agent, then choose it from the page’s context menu. AI usage has separate terms; the browser is free to download.

What if the agent stops responding?

Choose Reconnect in the conversation options to restore the chat. Queued follow-ups stay on hold until you send again. To report a problem, use the flag beneath an answer or type /feedback, then review the report before submitting it.

Does this website use analytics?

We count page views and download clicks to understand how the site is used. These counts use no cookies or persistent visitor IDs, and do not store IP addresses, referrers, or anything you type into the font preview. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control, and keep daily totals for 30 days. Website counts are separate from the Mac app’s optional stats.

What happens to my browsing data?

When you include a page or passage with a message, that text and your question go to the model provider Codegraff uses. You can review the attached context before sending, exclude the page, or remove an excerpt. The agent can also open and read pages as part of your task. You can turn the agent off in Settings. Read what leaves your Mac.
